Bracknell SC success at Berks & South Bucks Counties 2019
Berks & South Bucks County Championships was held at Wycombe Leisure Centre over two weekends in January. Bracknell and Wokingham had 75 swimmers qualify for the Counties this year.
The weekend started of great when the coaches put a pb, final and medal table up on the wall and all swimmers where determined and excited to get their names up on the wall and do themselves proud. By the end of the first weekend we had 3 sheets full of pbs, finals and medals. The second weekend was just as good with swimmers demonstrating great skills in the pool and out of the pool showing that they were all determined to do their best and achieve their goals.
All of the swimmers should be really pleased with themselves and hope that they continue to race as well as they did in January all the way through to the end of the season. Focus as well as fun is key to ensure that swimmers achieve in their next race.
BWSC finished with an outstanding 6 golds, 19 Silvers, 16 Bronze and 132 top 8 finishes at the Championships.

To conclude on our success at the Berks and South Bucks County Championships, I feel we are really building on great foundations and we are really starting to see the benefits of hard work and being more consistent in training and doing the required sessions. The coaches are very proud of you all and wish you the best of luck in your next competition.
