London Aquatic Centre

This weekend a group of 15 BWSC swimmers attended the Newham & East London level 1 meet at the London Aquatic Centre. For most of them it was their first chance to experience this fantastic venue and to stand on the same blocks as the Olympians in 2012. Some of our swimmers just attended a session or two whilst others toughed it out for six sessions over the whole weekend; there were some very tired swimmers by the end! Over the weekend there were PBs from various swimmers but the stand out performance must go to Antoni Kepa who not only PB’d in all his races but took over 4 seconds off his 100 Free to take gold by a full 2 seconds.
