British Summer Championships 2017

The British Summer Championships have been taking place at Ponds Forge, Sheffield from 25-30 July.
To qualify for this event swimmers have to be ranked in the top 24 for their age group in Great Britain.
BWSC had four swimmers qualify for this event: Tyler Ioannou, Charlie Stevenson, Will Ellington (holiday swimmer) and Andrew Willis (swimming for Bath University).

Tuesday 25th July
Men’s MC 200m Freestyle – Tyler Ioannou (5th in heat and 5th in final)
Women’s 200m Freestyle – Charlie Stevenson (15th in heat)
Men’s 100m Breast – Will Ellington (3rd in heat and 1st in final)
Men’s 100m Breast – Andrew Willis (4th in heat and 5th in final)
Wednesday 26th July
Men’s MC 100m Backstroke – Tyler Ioannou (5th in heat and 7th in final)
Men’s 200m Fly – Will Ellington (2nd in heat and 3rd in final)
Men’s 50m Breaststroke – Will Ellington (6th in heat and 4th in final)
Thursday 27th July
Men’s MC 100m Breast – Tyler Ioannou (3rd in heat and 3rd in final)
Men’s 400m IM – Will Ellington (2nd in heat and 5th in final)
Friday 28th July
Men’s 200m Breast – Will Ellington (2nd in heat and 3rd in final)
Men’s 200m Breast – Andrew Willis (1st in heat and 1st in final)
Men’s MC 200m IM – Tyler Ioannou (5th in heat and 9th in final)
