British Nationals 2022: Day 3 & 5

Day 3

Day 3 saw Jess’s final race of this year’s British Summer Nationals competing in the Ladies 200m Backstroke. A strong back end landed her with one of her fastest times yet in what has been a super week for her. Jess is now heading back to training ready for English Summer Nationals!

Day 5

For his very first Nationals, Aden McCarthy competed in his favourite event: 200m Backstroke. After a less favourable start, he came back as an outside smoker climbing positions throughout the race. He was rewarded with a new personal best and placed 20th!
