Just before pools started to close, Emily Goodwin and James Blaby competed in the Lifesaving Nationals, very lucky it went ahead!

James got 3 individual golds all of which were PB’s and a British Record in one! He also got a silver in an event he doesn’t usually do and a PB. He then got 1 Gold and 3 Silvers in the relay.

Emily got a 3m depth PB in one individual and got a Silver (her first national medal) in her favourite event with a big PB. Then got a Gold and a Bronze in the relays.

Emily thanks Jim (BWSC Masters swimming coach) his support and coaching to help her achieve the best in her swimming and lifesaving competitions and is looking forward to getting back in to train as soon as is possible.
