BWSC Covid-19 Response
March 18, 2020
In the light of the guidance by the Government and Swim England concerning Coronavirus (COVID 19) Bracknell & Wokingham Swimming club will be suspending all training as of today, Wednesday 18th March 2020, until further notice.
We hope our members understand and respect the difficult decisions that people are having to make in the face of this unprecedented situation. We realise the part we must play in the efforts to stop the spread of the virus and protect the well-being of all our members as well as the wider community.
We share in everyone’s disappointment and sadness as we come to accept that we will all need to make sacrifices in the immediate future to protect not only our families, but especially those most vulnerable to the disease.
We do not take for granted the important role our club plays in our community. We will be working hard over the next few weeks to establish an immediate plan for and how we stay connected in order to support one another.
We know many people will have questions and we will be sending out further communication in the next few days. We accept that we will not have the answers for everything right now as the situation is ever changing and would welcome your patience as we get to grips with working out how we operate in the coming months.
You can see the Swim England’s advice at https://www.swimming.org/swimengland/coronavirus-statement/
If you have any questions please email these to email@example.com and we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as we can.
All swimming members were advised this morning by email as confirmation of this post.
Thank you in advance for your understanding.
