British, English & Welsh National Results 2018

Over the two weeks at British, English and Welsh Nationals, Bracknell and Wokingham swimmers swam outstandingly where BWSC finished with:

• 11 Top 10 finishes
• 12 PB’s out of a total of 21 swims
• 2 Bronze medallists

It was a great first Nationals for newly appointed Head coach Matt Tuff and he was very pleased and proud with the results from all the swimmers. For some swimmers it was their first-time swimming at Nationals so to gain experience on the big stage is great and something to really build on next season. For those swimmers making a return to Nationals it was great to see them swimming with confidence and hunger to PB, final and medal.

English Nationals: 50m Freestyle – finishing in 17^th place

English Nationals: 50m Butterfly – finishing in 14^th place

English Nation: 200m Backstroke – finishing in 5^th place

Tom Garden: English National Swimmer, Youth Performance 1.

Reuben Alexander: English National Swimmer, Youth Performance 1.

English Nationals: 400m IM – finishing in 8^th place

Owen Say: English National Swimmers MC, Youth Competitive.

English Nationals: 100m Freestyle MC – finishing in 6^th place

English Nationals: 50m Freestyle MC – finishing in 8^th place

English Nationals: 200m IM MC – finishing in 17^th place

Ashleigh Morrow: English National Swimmer, Youth Performance 1.

Rosie Jenkinson: English Nationals and Open Water, Youth Performance 1

English Nationals: 1500m Freestyle – finishing in 7^th place

Open Water: 5KM – finishing in 10^th place

Daisy Dewsbury: English National Swimmer, Age Group Performance

English Nationals: 100m Backstroke – finishing in 17^th place

Ffion Thomas: Welsh National Swimmer, Youth Performance 1

Welsh Nationals: 100m Backstroke – finishing in 6^th place

Justin Morrow: Swim England Open Water, Youth Performance 1

Open Water: 3KM – Finishing in 18^th place
