Owen Say competed in the National Para Swimming Championships held on the 9th and 10th December up in Manchester.

He swam in 5 races setting 3 new PBs and won 2 x Gold medals and 3 x Silver medals for his disability classification in the Under 18 section. His time in the 100m Breaststroke won the overall gold medal across all age groups for his classification.

Furthermore we have just heard from Swim England that he has been invited to be part of the England Para Swimming Talent Development Programme for 2018 and he attends his induction day up in Loughborough this Saturday (6th January 2018).

Attached is a photo of Owen with his coach Bob Kubath who coaches the Youth Competitive squad. A huge thanks to Bob for all his efforts, time and commitment.

Also special mention must be made of, and thanks must go to, Jim Dobinson who gave up his weekend to accompany and act as coach to the three Bracknell swimmers who were competing in Manchester.
