The Swim England National Summer Meet took place at Ponds Forge, Sheffield from 2-6 August.

To qualify for this event swimmers have to be ranked between 24 and 44 for their age group.

BWSC had six swimmers qualify for this event: Reuben Alexander, Lauren Richards, Charlie Stevenson, Tom Garden, Ellie Kirkham and Brogan Hyde.

Men’s 400m IM – Reuben Alexander (3rd in heat and 4th in final)

Thursday 3rd August

Women’s 200m Breaststroke – Lauren Richards (17th in heat)

Friday 4th August

Men’s 50m Backstroke – Tom Garden (2nd in heat and 3rd in final)
Women’s 400m Freestyle – Charlie Stevenson (8th in heat and 10th in final)

Saturday 5th August

Women’s 100m Free – Charlie Stevenson (1st in heat and 2nd in final)

Sunday 6th August

Men’s 200m Backstroke – Brogan Hyde (3rd in heat and 7th in final)
Women’s 200m Backstroke – Ellie Kirkham (12th in heat)
