For eleven Bracknell & Wokingham swimmers, the season will finish with a trip to Sheffield to compete in this year’s British Summer Championships, 25th July – 30th July and the ASA Summer Championships, 2nd August – 6th August.

The swimmers competing in the British Championships are Charlotte Stevenson in the 200m Freestyle and Tyler Ioannou who has a very busy schedule during the week competing in six events,100m Freestyle, Breaststroke, Backstroke, Butterfly and the 200m Freestyle and Individual Medley.

Competing in the ASA National Summer Championships are Reuben Alexander, Ellie Kirkham, Brogan Hyde, Lauren Richards and Charlie Stevenson. Ffion Thomas and Grace Kinnell will be competing in the Swim Wales meet. Ffion will competing in the 50m Backstroke, 50m Butterfly and 100m Backstroke. Whilst Grace will be competing in the 800m Freestyle. Rosie Jenkinson & Grace Kinnell have qualified for the ASA National Open Water Championships for the first time which take place at Rother Valley, Sheffield on the 31st July.

I am very pleased with the number of swimmers who have qualified for the National championships; this is one of our best years.
