Kathryn shines at the Down Syndrome Championships

Kathryn Martin swam in a Down Syndrome only event at the start of April which was with all the top GB swimmers (all ages) plus the Irish team and a few swimmers from Russia, Estonia and Spain. 

 She was

 1st in 200 back,

2nd in 50 back (1st GB swimmer)

3rd in 100 back (2nd GB swimmer).

3rd in 200 & 100 free (2nd GB swimmer)

8th in 50 free

Kathryn’s ambition is now to beat the no 1 and swim at the Europeans Championships in Paris at the end of October!
