The final round of the National Arena League took place on Saturday 11th December. After two hard rounds the BSWC swimmers were competing In the top gala for Division 1. With all 6 teams scoring pretty close in previous rounds, it was sure to be a close final!

With the spectator gallery filled with cheering Bracknell parents and the end of lane 2 busy with supportive team mates the swimmers were ready to go!

Throughout the night there was never a dull moment, with every race being close. Each member of the team raced hard to pick up those all important points. The swimmers gave it there all, competing in a tough filled (with Olympic Gold medallist Tom Dean swimming for Maidenhead). A big shout out must go to those swimmers who placed 1st in their event, these were:

  • Zac Callinan: Boys 11 and Under 50m Butterfly
  • Edith Hamilton: Girls 13 under 100 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke
  • Mixed 15 Under Medley Relay

Well done to team for swimming 3 very tough rounds, the support for each other was incredible witness. Now onto the Christmas break round for Counties!
